Bogor : Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort Spa and Convention

The first Pullman Resort in Indonesia !

Living and hustling in Jakarta sometimes ( and often ) can be a bit overwhelming. I mean... the traffic, pollution, politics, not to mention all the pressure and fast-moving work load. Of course we all need a 'break' or an escape from all of that. Whenever I need a short getaway, me and my family used to go to Bandung or Puncak. But we never do it anymore since the traffic is craaaaaazzzzzy. Like couple years ago when I visit Puncak for the weekend, I was end up stuck in a car for 8 - 9 hours ! Oh my... so traumatic ! lol. That's why Puncak is never in my option again. Same story with Bandung. 

So as a Jakartan, we don't have many options besides going to Bali. Of course it will cost more because of the flight ticket and so on. BUT..... WORRY NO MORE ! Couple months ago, I was invited to this newly opened property that is HUGE ! Location ? It's nestled in Vimala Hills ! Vimala Hills located just at 'Persimpangan Gadog', so you can skip the Puncak's Traffic !

The first time arriving there, I was like...... wow.... no traffic at all ! And second wow, the resort itself makes you feel like you are in Bali ! Oh my... this is definitely a great option for us to have a getaway ! Don't skip until the end of the post to know why !

Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort Spa and Convention had a 10 hectares 600 meters area in total. 
They are still in development, especially the VILLAS ! What I love of this Resort is they provide pretty much of everything you could ask for ! They have Spa, Kids Playground, Gym, 2 Swimming Pools, Lounge, 2 Restaurants ( and another upcoming restaurant ), also Ballroom for events. You can also have an access to many kind of activities in Vimala Hills! You can do biking, playing ATV, Golf and so on ! So.. I'm recommending you to clear out your itinerary, and just enjoy the property !

I was staying at a Deluxe Room and it's spacious enough for me. With 42sqm in size, balcony is also included ! They also have Deluxe Pool Access Room, Executive and Suite with 55sqm in size. I love how well decorated the room was! With a touch of Indonesian accent, also a modern eclectic design. 
 

 

The amenities was also suits the 5 stars properties. They also provide Coffee Machine and Equil Water Bottles. The cleanliness also perfect and the King size bed also pleasurable.

Are we in Bali ?

No need to worry if your tummy is hungry ! You can opted for DAMAR, their All Day Dining restaurant. We had our dinner there, and the food was properly done ! Price-wise is not too high like in a 5 stars hotel, so it's definitely a great option! Damar also the breakfast spot, so we had our breakfast there at the next day. For breakfast options, it was various enough. But I personally think they need more improvement in terms of taste.

For lunch, we visit their Pool Bar, PADI. So if you looking for a bites after your swim, this is the place for you. They serve housemade Pizzas, and other western food. We opted for their Thai beef Salad, Burger and Pizza. All was nice and enjoyable ! 

Looking for drinks or coffee, you can visit their lounge, SALAK. It is very chic, and the view is amazing. I'm enjoying my coffee while immerse in the serene ambiance.

As I mention before, you can also indulge yourself in their Spa managed by Tirta Ayu Spa. Or if you visiting with kids, your kids will definitely enjoy the playground !

Overall, I'm really having a great time staying at this Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort Spa and Convention, thank you mba Rita and team for making my stay memorable.
