Nestled in Indofood Tower, The Mayflower - Marriott Executive Apartments, is a serviced apartment in the Jakarta's business disctrict with one, two, and three bedroom apartments. Back to their Ramadan Iftar, The Mayflower also has their dining area called The Cafe. In here you can enjoy Indonesian or also Western dishes. During this Ramadan, you can savor delish buffet spread of Padang and Javanese cuisines, inclusives of ta'jil, soup, salad, main course and dessert ! All served for only IDR 150.000 nett/pax, with minimal purchase of 10 pax. This promotion is valid on 26th May - 24th June 2017 ! Hurry and you will get a chance to get 2 dining voucher as well!
That time, before we savor the sumptuous buffet, we was served with this Dory Sambal Matah. The fish was perfectly cooked, but the sambal matah needs to be more fragrant since I can't taste the lemongrass or any torch ginger flower in it.
Next course is their Buntut Kalio ( Beef Oxtail ). The oxtail was superbly tender ! I never tried oxtail that cooked with Padang-style of dishes before, so it was interesting! The 'kalio' which is the sauce that made with a lot of spices and coconut milk was also yum. Savory and spicy !
They also serve various dishes as well.
And for dessert is Es Pisang Ijo. This one was also good with savory coconut 'porridge', and soft skin banana. Love it !
