So yeah, apparently the number of coffee shop in Kelapa Gading are increasing lately. It's a good thing though! Since I've always go to Kelapa Gading min. once a week, and it's hard to find a proper coffee shop in this area !
So one of the newcomer is this one, Six Ounces Coffee. Located just across Fave Hotel Kelapa Gading, surprisingly this place was packed when I first visit them! Without no signboard, you can just look for a tiny coffee cups symbol located on the front. As I mention before, the place was packed so I kind of lazy to took pictures of a room full of people. They had this indoor one, including the bar area for ordering, and semi outdoor area.
For the coffee, I opted for a Piccolo - IDR 29.000,-. They use a blend of Java, Sumatra and Brazil from Giyanti Coffee Roastery. I'm a regular at Giyanti, so the coffee taste was predictable. Nice body, sweet, chocolatey notes. A kind of coffee that I'm easy-to-please with. Oh, I also love the presentation with this wooden tray and a glass of water ! Always need a water to cleansed down after drinking coffee.
They also have options for light bites and heavy food. That time I opted for Lemon Meringue Donut - IDR 28.000,-. Unfortunately, it was too dry. The dough wasn't fluffy and light, but the lemon curd taste was quite tangy and enjoyable.
My friend order this Cold Brew Caramel - IDR 40.000,-. Nice presentation with that Iwaki Flasks! The flavor was nice too, it was light, refreshing and not too sweet. Perfect for a newbie coffee-drinker.
And this Cappucino. It was done properly too.
