Jakarta : Qraved EatJKT at Wilshire

Qraved's EatJKT back again 14th May - 14th June 2015 !

So last time me and several bloggers was invited by Qraved to experience their EatJakarta's event at Wilshire. Eat Jakarta is an annual event that they held, so you can tasting set menus from restaurants in Jakarta, with special prices. This year, the Eat Jakarta event will be held from 14th May - 14th June 2015.

That day the place taken at the new location of Wilshire in Senopati ( previously at Foundry 8 ). The interior was pretty much the same with the previous Wilshire. Personally, I love their decor. It was a bit feminine, but comfy and luxurious at the same time.

From the Eat Jakarta 's set menu, you can opted for Menu 1 - IDR 215.000,-/ pax or Menu 2 - IDR 349.000,-/pax. That time I opted for the Menu 2 and here's what you gonna get. 

Appetizer, Sesame Chicken Salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the sesame dressing was nice as well. They put some crispy skin wonton on top, for added texture.

Main course, you will get this Slow Cooked 55 Degree Wagyu Bowl in Hot Stone. Omg..... the Wagyu was..... superb ! It's juicy, tender and you can still tasted that yummy fats of wagyu in your mouth. The sauce was a bit sweet and savory. It was nice though! The bowl also served with rice, corn and runny soft boiled egg. Not complain!

And for the dessert you will get this Earl Grey Creme Brulee. This one tasted a bit too sweet to my palate, but you can't taste the earl grey enough. The caramelized sugar on top was too caramelized though, so it was a bit hard to 'crack'.

Besides the Eat Jakarta 's menu, we're also served with another yummy dishes from Wilshire. Such as this Duck Confit with Waffle and Egg. Yup this 'duck and waffle' thing was very hype when I do my last trip to London. And yes, I think Wilshire's done it perfectly. The duck was juicy and tender, the waffle is light and crispy, and with that maple syrup on top.... Yum !! Love the sweet and savory flavor combo.

Urban-Egg Burrito. This one actually 'Nasi Goreng Gila' topping wrapped in tortilla. So they had stir fried sausage, chicken, egg and veggies in it. It was tasted savory as well.

Garlic Udon with Prawn. This one was also nice with strong garlic taste.

For the drinks, we've been served with this welcome drink made by Hana ( the owner ) herself ! It was Vodka with Mint and Strawberry. Light and refreshing!

And this cute mocktails is Sheila's Carnival. A mix of strawberry, cranberry, orange and passion fruit.

The event also supported by AMG group and Code Hunter. Overall we have a good time, thanks Qraved Eat Jakarta and Wishire !
