Finding this place is a bit tricky though, because I thought it's located on the main road of the Seminyak, but it's not ! It's located in the alley name 'Gang 51' ! Not to be confused with the word 'Gang', it's actually Indonesian words for an alley. Anyway, I kind of like this place ! It's a bit, hidden, and... there's just so much attitude here. From their interior and also their employees, just feels so ..... bad-ass! :p
The interior is a bit lacking of natural light, so yeah... it's not so instagram-friendly ( if you know what I mean ;p ). I got a seat on 2nd floor, it's not too spacious, but it's good enough for 20 persons. The wall was covered with vintage posters, and the furnish was mixed of wooden stuff and vintage. It's quite nice though.
So yeah, I've heard a good review of their coffee, so I opted for a Piccolo - IDR 25.000,-. I forgot to ask what the beans that they use, but my piccolo turns out quite nice. Good body and balanced acidity.
A friend of mine opted for an Iced Latte - IDR 25.000,-.
Revolver also serves all day breakfast menu, so I opted for their AK 47 - IDR 55.000,-. So this one is a sourdough with homemade salsa, spinach, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I love the crispy crust of the sourdough, and the tangy tomatoey salsa was balanced with the poached eggs. Love it !
My friend order Nutella Toast - IDR 25.000,-. We have too high expectation when we order this toast, because usually in Jakarta they will serves it in 'different' way. But yeah, this one is only a sourdough toast with a little nutella ( yeah we need moreee ;p ) and butter.
My friend also order their pastry. He said it was good enough.
