Talking of modern side of Jogja, you'll see that they are, indeed, growing. You can see more of Shopping Malls, and fancy restaurant, and also this... a coffee shop ! Third wave coffee apparently starting to grow here in Jogja. I'm glad I gotta chance to try this coffee shop, because they're not just 'went-along-with-it', but they are, serious.
Epic Coffee was part of Epilogue, a furniture store. It was well designed with minimalist and industrial atmosphere, but still cozy with vintage touch. It was quite airy with indoor and semi outdoor sitting area! Nice.

For their milk-based coffee, I opted their Piccolo - IDR 21.000. Their house blend was quite full bodied, sweet and bit floral in taste. Quite nice.
It is said they're also roast the beans by themselves. So I opted for their Single Origin, Baroko Enrekang brewed with Chemex - IDR 35.000. Their barista quite well-trained IMO, and they're prepare the coffee nicely. The Single Origin Baroko Enrekang was nice with caramel, floral taste, and fruity hint.
For dessert, I opted some Warm Apple Tart - IDR 28.000, and it was sooooooo good! The apple tart still had that crunchy texture, and it's perfect with the vanilla ice cream. Yum!
