Food/Rest. Review : The Baked Goods

There's a new recently open dessert place in town. It is said the celebrity Erwin Parengkuan and his wife Jana Parengkuan who own it. Well... I'm a sweet tooth fan, so I'm excited to try.

Atmosphere :
I love the place ! There's an outdoor and indoor sitting area. The interior are classic and minimalist. They picked the soft earth tone color, which I like. It's quite nice to have a tea time in this place. Just enjoying the time and relax a bit.

Price :
Around IDR 20.000 - 50.000 / person.

Food :
The Baked Goods offer many range of cake, cookies and so on. That time I'm interested with a cake that originally from Czech Republic which is, Bublanina - IDR. 15.000,- . At the time it been served, the cake was heated before, so it's still warm. So yummm... The cake was soft and moist, the strawberry in it gives a nice sour kicks, and the crumble on top.... oh ... so heavenly.

Also their signature is Carrot Cake - IDR. 19.000,- The carrot cake has a strong cinnamon taste in it. But for me, I like it more if the cake are more moist ( because it rather dry ), and more cream cheese on top :p

Lemon Poppyseed Cake - IDR 19.000,- Looks cute isn't it? I love this cake, moist and fresh. Simply yum.

Cheesecake - IDR 19.500.

They're also served Quiche. I love quiche ! That time I choose Spinach, Smoked Beef and Mushroom Quiche - IDR 19.000. For me, I love it more if they're put more cheese in it.

Dark Choco Rum Cake - IDR 22.000,-. The cake is moist and fudgy. If you are a chocolate lover, you'll definitely love this.

Since they're not serving drinks ( only a glass of water for free ) ,you can also order drinks from the other restaurant ( but in same place ) which is "Sereh Manis" resto.
